⚽ Important Updates for the 2026-2027 Season
We will be implementing several changes to our recreational program.

1. Alignment with School Calendar Years. Following the guidance of US Youth Soccer, AYSO,
   and US Club Soccer, Centex Storm is transitioning to team formation based on the school
   calendar year (August 1 – July 31).
   • Why? This aligns most players with their school-grade peers.
   • Impact: This change affects all teams. All players will now be placed in their age-
     appropriate divisions.
   • Note: Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by the Director of Coaching.
2. New Uniform Kits. We are moving to a reversible jersey system designed to last multiple
   seasons.
   • Savings: Registration costs for future seasons will be reduced for returning players who
     reuse their kits.
   • Replacements: If a jersey is lost, damaged, or outgrown, a replacement kit can be
     purchased for $25.
3. Division Changes & Co-ed Updates: To better serve our maturing players, we are
   restructuring our older divisions:
   • 13U–15U: We are replacing the co-ed 14U division with separate Boys and Girls 8v8
     divisions.
   • Co-ed Divisions: Moving forward, only First Kicks, 5U, and 6U will remain co-ed.

We are incredibly excited about the future of our league and the positive impact these changes
will have on our players.
